Scaramouche Unveils Annual Summer Tasting Menu
In a departure from typical tasting menus, Scaramouche is handing over the reins to its wine team and building the restaurant's celebrated Tasting menu around the wine selections.
We're delighted Executive Chef Keith Froggett has agreed to let Scaramouche's Summer Tasting Menu be driven by the wine this year.
We plan to dip into our cellar and pour some esoteric curiosities and other wines off the beaten path that Scaramouche doesn't normally pour by the glass.
We will be serving some wonderful wines that will be enhanced alongside Chef Froggett's seasonal food pairings. In particular, we will be pouring wines like Tete de Cuvee by Hidden Bench which is the best Canadian chardonnay we have ever tasted as well as the Malbec Gran Reserva which is a dense, concentrated wine from Argentina which has rich notes of molasses.
For the months of July an August patrons at the Scaramouche dining room can enjoy the five course tasting menu with five accompanying wines. It will be changed weekly and the current menu can be viewed each Monday.
